Welcome to Felliscliffe Chapel

COVID-19 UPDATE (6th January 2021)

As you will all be aware places of worship may remain open during the current lockdown. Over the past days our PCC’s have been prayerfully considering our duty of care to all members of our congregations and wider communities irrespective of age especially in the midst of the new easily transmitted variant of COVID.
We need to play our part in ensuring the safety of all and have therefore decided to suspend  public communal worship across the Benefice with immediate effect.
Our services from this Sunday will revert to an 11am service on zoom (details to follow in the usual way). Hampsthwaite will be open each Sunday from 2-3pm for private individual prayer.
The Diocese of Leeds are very supportive of our decision, we anticipate remaining closed until the lockdown is eased.
Support is available should you have any concerns and we will do all we can to help in this difficult situation. Please do not hesitate to contact the churchwardens and we will do all we can to offer support (contact details can be found on the website)

Welcome FelliscliffeFelliscliffe Chapel is at the heart of the community in a beautiful rural village on the outskirts of Harrogate. We are a very friendly worshipping community with a welcoming monthly All Age Worship, occasional United Benefice Services of Holy Communion and also special Harvest and Christmas services.

We are part of a joint Benefice comprising the parishes of St. Thomas a Becket, Hampsthwaite with Felliscliffe & St. Thomas the Apostle, Killinghall and St. James, Birstwith.

We hope you find what you are looking for on these pages and we would be delighted to welcome you, whether as a visitor or to join us regularly in worship, fun and fellowship.
